About the Role
MAP is seeking a Protection Case Management Officer who will be responsible for identifying and responding to protection concerns in collaboration with MAP staff and partners. They will deliver confidential and timely case management services, ensuring adherence to MAP’s standards, ethical guidelines, and data protection protocols. The role includes managing complex protection cases, maintaining secure documentation, coordinating with service providers for referrals, and updating service mapping tools. The officer will also participate in weekly case discussions, support peer learning, and work closely with the Protection Monitoring team to ensure effective case identification and follow-up.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills supported by relevant qualifications or experience, preferably with a degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Law. They will possess proven experience in protection case management within humanitarian settings, with a solid understanding of protection principles, referral mechanisms, and coordination with external service providers. Experience working with vulnerable groups in conflict-affected areas, including children, women, and persons with disabilities, is essential. The candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Arabic, and the ability to work independently and under pressure.
