Call for Applications: Enumerator Pool (Gaza/West Bank)
MdM is a medical humanitarian NGO. Since 1980, MdM has worked independently around the world to guarantee universal and sustainable access to healthcare.
In Palestine, the objectives of the programs are to limit the medical impact of the restrictions in accessing medical care on the Palestinian population, to improve mental health and psychosocial care and to bear witness to the violations of the right to health.
Position: Enumerator Pool (Gaza/West Bank)
Location: Gaza and West Bank
Contract Type: Contracts are on a service (daily payment) basis.
Job Schedule: Part time
Médecins du Monde – France (MdM) is inviting applications to establish a pool of Enumerators to support our Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) and program teams in Gaza and West Bank. Successful candidates will be registered in our MEAL database for a period of 6 to 12 months and contacted on an on-call basis when data collection activities are planned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field and phone-based interviews with beneficiaries as part of project assessments.
- Accurately record data and report feedback or issues to the MEAL team.
- Participate in mandatory trainings (including use of KOBO, interview techniques, and safeguarding).
- Adhere to MdM’s ethical standards, including informed consent, confidentiality, and protection principles

- Fluent in Arabic, with good English skills.
- At least 2 years’ experience in data collection, preferably in humanitarian or health contexts.
- Familiarity with KOBO or similar data collection tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse communities.
- Available on-call for the contract duration.
Additional Information:
- Contracts are on a service (daily payment) basis.
- Enumerators may be called upon for data entry tasks.
- Transportation will be provided for field activities.
- Underperformance or repeated unavailability may lead to removal from the pool.
- Regular capacity building and a comprehensive handbook will be provided.
