About the Role:
MAP is seeking a Receptionist who will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, offering a professional and compassionate welcome to all. The Receptionist will be responsible for managing the reception area, assisting with patient registration, and directing individuals to the appropriate staff or service within the clinic. They will provide reassurance and emotional support to patients who may be anxious or distressed, while responding to inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner. The role also involves maintaining accurate patient information in databases, ensuring the confidentiality and secure handling of all personal data, and managing patient records in line with privacy standards. The successful candidate will communicate clearly with medical and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. Additional duties include monitoring inventory levels of medical supplies, facilitating restocking when needed, adhering to safety and security guidelines, reporting any concerns to the line manager, and preparing weekly reports on patient numbers and relevant observations.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field, and brings prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting or with a local or international NGO. We are seeking someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional and welcoming environment. Proficiency in both English and Arabic is essential, along with solid organizational abilities and attention to detail. The candidate should be confident in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively while remaining composed under pressure. A professional appearance, the ability to work independently, and strong teamwork skills are also important for this role.
