Location: South & North of Gaza, Palestine
Salary: ILS 7,425 per month
ABOUT US:
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.
We are looking for someone who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and effectiveness of mental health and psychosocial support services through clinical supervision, psychotropic medication management, and capacity building. This includes overseeing clinical assessments, therapeutic interventions, and adherence to MAP’s protocols. The role supervises the safe use and monitoring of psychotropic medication in collaboration with medical staff and pharmacists. It also involves delivering ongoing training for MHPSS teams, facilitating clinical discussions, and supporting professional development. The Supervisor leads community outreach efforts to raise mental health awareness and reduce stigma, while also ensuring proper monitoring, reporting, and data management in line with program standards.
