Job Summary:
As a member of the Resource Transfer Unit and Information Management team, you will support the monitoring and reporting on all project activities under the Gaza Emergency Response in support of Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) work serving the poor and vulnerable. Your thorough and service-oriented approach will ensure that the RTU and Information Management team supports the program response by consistently applies best practices and constantly works towards improving the impact of its benefits to those we serve.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Entry Support
- Assist in collecting, compiling, and organizing field data from program teams and partners.
- Enter and update data in CRS’s information systems (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, or online platforms).
- Conduct basic checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of collected information.
- Conduct spot checks and field visits to verify data quality and address gaps in real time.
- Routine Monitoring & Reporting Assistance
- Support teams in tracking and documenting emergency response activities.
- Flag inconsistencies, gaps, or delays in data submission to supervisors.
- Help prepare simple reports, summaries, and updates for internal use
- Data Cleaning & Basic Analysis
- Perform daily checks to clean and verify data (e.g., removing duplicates, correcting errors).
- Support in generating basic tables, charts, or lists for program monitoring.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records for easy retrieval.
- Administrative & Documentation Tasks
- File and archive project documents, forms, and reports.
- Assist in gathering information for case studies or success stories.
- Follow CRS data protection and confidentiality guidelines.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, economics, statistics or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in project support. Experience in the field of information management and/or monitoring and evaluation and for an NGO would be a plus.
- Additional experience may substitute for some education.
- Computer Skills required
Required Languages - Fluency in Arabic, professional proficiency in English
Travel - must be willing to travel to CRS operations across governates up to 15%
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups
- Proactive, results-oriented and service-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Advanced Excel.
- Experience in data entry and data collection.
- Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

External: Data Entry Staff through partners, vendors
