Warehouse Coordinator
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to oversee the supervision and organization of Anera warehouse located in Gaza. The warehouses will receive aid shipments from external donors and local partners. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for inventory control, proper documentation, and ensuring the security of all stored goods. The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee and advise on all necessary measures to ensure the safety and proper management of the facility, including the implementation of required safety and health insurance policies, as well as the application of systems and software for inventory control and distribution. The Warehouses Coordinator will report any discrepancies, losses, or security concerns to the Operations Manager and Gaza Branch Manager (GHM) promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Monitor stock levels and organize the warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure documentation matches physical stock.
2. Receiving and Dispatching Goods:
- Oversee the unloading of aid shipments from external and local partners.
- Ensure proper inspection of goods upon arrival to verify quantity and condition.
- Prepare goods for dispatch as per distribution schedules.
3- Documentation and Reporting:
- Document all inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, and dispatches.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and damages.
- Report any instances of looting, tampering, or missing items to the Operations Manager immediately.
4- Security and Safety Compliance:
- Implement security measures to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or damage.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including required insurances, for the proper storage of goods, especially perishable or hazardous items. - Conduct regular safety drills and maintain emergency response plans.
5- Team Management:
- Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate daily activities.
- Train team members on proper handling, documentation, and safety procedures.
Schedule shifts and allocate tasks efficiently.
6- Coordination with Operations:
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to align warehouse activities with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with logistics teams for the timely delivery and reception of shipments.
Support in the planning of distribution schedules based on inventory availability.
7- Problem Solving and Adaptability:
- Address and resolve any logistical challenges that arise.
- Adapt to emergency situations, including urgent aid requests or unexpected shipment delays.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Familiarity with humanitarian logistics standards, including Sphere standards and EU, USAID/UN/INGO compliance procedures, is a strong advantage.
- A valid driver's license is desirable.
