The Jordanian Action for the Development of Enterprises (JADE) is a 3 year project co-funded by the European Union; aiming to support the development of an inclusive and innovative private sector that leads to economic growth and development across regions in Jordan. The project will, more specifically, develop pathways for increasing local market linkages across value chains, supporting the development of value added, encouraging innovation and promoting skills development in a manner that leads to realizing the growth potential of Jordanian small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Responsibilities

  1. Develop a suitable financial and investment plan for the SMEs as per the financial analysis and review and update SMEs financial plan if it exists to help it in achieving its goal.
  2. Examine and suggest suitable financial opportunities ( Banks, equity investment, etc.)
  3. Based on the plan recommendations, connect and facilitate one-to-one meetings between the SMEs and the most suitable financial institutions to receive loans from financial institutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Hold a minimum bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management or any other related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis and planning in which the candidate has worked with industrial sectors; holding professional certifications (CMA, CFA) is a plus.
  • Experience in providing financial support to SMEs and knowledge about available financial support for SMEs in Jordan.
  • Excellent report writing skills, including the ability to synthesize ideas and present these in a clear and consistent manner understandable to non-specialist-stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, reporting, and writing skills.
  • Fully proficient in software packages (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English and Arabic Languages is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on projects effectively.
