Job Description

Business Alliance HR is recruiting a Quality Assurance Engineer for a High Tech Company offering digital healthcare solutions, located in Ramallah, Palestine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved or new features are implemented.
Apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product owners) to identify system requirements.
Troubleshoot issues in order to understand root cause.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Job Requirements

Special Requirements & Skills:

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in Automation & Manual testing.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with JavaScript testing frameworks & other automated testing tools.
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, self-organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Solid experience in Jira or a similar issue & bug tracking system.

Preferred Requirements:

Some programming experience always helps.
Experience with Cypress is highly valued.
Experience with GraphQL is highly valued.
Experience with different non-functional testing types.
Experience in development processes like TDD and BDD will be considered a strong plus.

Years of experience:

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.

Location:
Ramallah, Palestine.

Languages Required:
Fluent in Arabic & English.
