Duty station: Ramallah – Westbank, will be handling a project in Gaza
Contract Duration: 12 months
Job purpose summary:
The Agricultural Development Association (PARC) is seeking a qualified and highly motivated Project Manager to join its team, with a Full-time temporary contract on a project. The selected candidate will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the implementation of Empower Phase (3) project focusing on creating & reviving of small & medium enterprises in Gaza.
The project manager will be responsible for the project “Empower Phase (3): Vulnerable Youth Establish & Revive Viable SMEs in Gaza”, funded by Enabel. The projects main objective is to ensure that more young women and men in Palestine, particularly in Gaza, secure employment in decent work conditions or establish their own income-generating businesses. Given the challenging economic situation and high unemployment rates in Gaza, especially among youth, this objective is critical for enhancing economic empowerment and stability for the community and support its revival after the 7th of October. Furthermore, the specific objective of the project is to increase employment opportunities for young women and men in Gaza by promoting entrepreneurship and providing essential business development support. By equipping youth with the necessary skills, resources, and mentorship, the project aims to help them create sustainable businesses contributing to economic resilience and job creation in the Gaza Strip.
Main Tasks and Duties:
- Responsible for accomplishing project goal, objectives & outputs required within the project.
- Responsible for management of the projects team including project officers & field staff.
- Preparing reports for the donor & Programme Head.
- Ensuring the proper implementation of the detailed plan of the project.
- Responsible for maintaining the project budget and ensuring that spending is according to plan.
- Responsible for the proper documentation of the project activities.
- Coordinating for different meetings with stakeholders and partners.
- Preparing and submitting monthly progress reports.
- Reviewing project documents to ensure that they are complete, accurate, and comply with the archiving system within the organization
- Coordinating with MEAL team for proper monitoring & evaluation of project activities.

Qualifications, Requirements, and Competences:
- Bachelor degree in business administration or a relevant field. (Or equivalent combination of formal training and experience e.g. in marketing, economics, management, business development etc.). An MBA, community development, gender mainstreaming, with an emphasis on economic empowerment would be added assets.
- 3-5 years of experience in working with SMEs and coordinating projects.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organizational skills, including an ability to work independently and take initiative.
