Reporting to: Operationally to Deputy Programme Director, and Functionally to Senior Finance Manager
Salary: ILS 11,705 - ILS 11,705 per month

About the Role:
The role involves providing comprehensive financial support to programme teams, including participating in planning and grant design, preparing and reviewing project budgets, and contributing to donor financial reporting. It ensures compliance with donor and organizational policies, monitors budget performance, and supports audit readiness. The position also reviews procurement requests to verify budget availability and compliance, and plays a key role in overseeing partner financial processes, including due diligence, capacity building, and financial monitoring. Additionally, the role involves training programme staff on financial procedures and promoting effective communication between finance and programme teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a preference for those who are professionally qualified or part-qualified (ACCA, CPA, CIMA). They should possess strong literacy, numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication abilities. Extensive experience in finance or grant management—particularly within an NGO setting—is essential, as is deep knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, donor compliance, and partner financial oversight. The candidate should also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences, fluency in English and Arabic, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a collaborative mindset are also key to success in this role.
