Position title: Administrative Assistant-Gaza Strip
“GGateway for Outsourcing Information Technology” is a social enterprise registered as a Private Limited Entity (Pltd.) in Gaza in January 2016 after 2 years of piloting work in UNRWA. GGateway works as a non-profit entity in accordance with its mission, vision, principles, and values in order to realize its objectives. GGateway offers customized and competitive ICT business outsourcing services to clients worldwide. GGateway enables young ICT graduates from universities in Gaza to access professional opportunities in a learning environment, and enhances the ICT sector in Gaza by providing qualified labour and business opportunities. GGateway provides services such as but not limited to Data Management, Process Improvement, Training Material development, Software Testing and application development. GGateway also operates a vibrant and innovative freelancing platform (GHub), a co-working space equipped with IT infrastructure fostering collaboration and knowledge transfer to create professional ICT communities. GGateway is supported by UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency) and funded by KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency).
General Position Summary
This advertisement seeks qualified applications for an Administrative Assistant, who will be responsible for the general day-by-day HR, Procurement and Logistics support, together with the delivery of all the relative documentations and reports as well as the maintenance and update of the shared folder and contacts databases. This position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing clear administrative procedures. This position requires advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (word-processing, spread sheet, data base applications, etc.). UNRWA administrative work experience and SAP ERP is highly appreciated. Workplace accountability to GGateway vision and mission is an essential task as well as the commitment to any task related to the Enterprise strategic needs.
Contract Duration: One year contract with possibility of extension.
-Reports directly to the GGateway Operations Manager
-The Administrative Assistant works under the supervision of the Operations Manager to assure the operations activities integration in the Enterprise’s framework in order to fulfil the Enterprise social and business impact. The Administrative Assistant works closely with the Accountant for complementing all the necessary tasks under the Enterprise Operations.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
1-Academic and Professional Qualifications: University degree in Business Administration or any related field.
2-Professional Experience: At least three-year experience in administrative work. Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (word-processing, spread sheet, data base applications, etc.). UNRWA administrative work experience is highly appreciated.
3-Language: excellent English and Arabic.

-Understanding of the learning management systems, databases and data quality.
-Knowledge of Gaza’s ICT industry, its employers and challenges.
