Position Title: Project Coordinator
Reporting To: Projects Manager and Executive Director
Duration: 12 Months
Contract Type: Full time
The PPC is looking to hire a Project Coordinator for its Finland funded project which aims to support the conditions for peace, democracy and human rights in a conflict zone through exposing a significant sector within the Palestinian society to an Education for Peace Campaign, and by encouraging dialogue within the Palestinian society.
The successful candidate for this position will be contracted for 12 months.
He/she will be responsible for the following duties:
-Ensure all activities are implemented in accordance to project action plan.
-Produce progress monthly reports, and any update on each activity, achievements, and constraints faced, and produce final reports.
-Monitor project outcomes and to ensure all activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
-Coordinate with the different PPC staff, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure better management and effective implementation of the project plan.
- Implement the project activities while adhering to excellence and quality standards in a manner that is consistent with the PPC’s principles, mission, and vision.
-Organize all related logistical arrangements for the implementation of the planned activities.
- Monitoring the financial aspect of the work to ensure the compliance with the approved financial procedures.
-Conduct field visits and follow up activities with partners and beneficiaries.
-Submit the required reports and other requirements in line with the approved deadlines and formats.
-Compile, maintain, and document the projects/s related reports, daily work records, and other relevant documents.
-Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social sciences, or any other related fields.
-Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
-Ability to plan and coordinate the most effective use of facilities, and resources to achieve successful project objectives.
-Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in both Arabic and English.
