The Palestine Techno Park (PTP) established in 2016 as a non-profit research and innovation park aimed at supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Palestine. PTP provides needed physical infrastructure, entrepreneurship programs, technology transfer office, Innovation Labs and Hubs, and Research and Development initiatives to introduce and promote science and innovative technologies, commercialize technological knowledge, and bridge the gap between the business sector and academia.
The PTP is seeking a qualified and highly motivated candidate to fill a full-time Finance & Administrative assistant position at the Palestine Techno Park office, located at Palestine India Techno Park Building, Birzeit, Ramallah.
 
Role and Responsibilities
  • Review incoming correspondence, collect and prepare necessary information for reply/action, and draft and finalize responses;
  • Maintain an office filing system and assist in archiving; Handle all mailings and receiving phone calls  
  • Provide logistical, administrative and financial support as needed
  • Organize audio and video conferences;
  • Manage calendars and schedule of appointments; and take care of the logistics 
  • Track project expenditures and monitor the expenditure using all available analytic tools under the supervision of the direct manager
  • Help the finance manager in preparing vouchers and payments 
  • Programs coordination\ event, workshops, boot camps and info sessions in coordinating with the direct supervisor  
  • Follow-up on the submission of different kinds of applications 
  • Gather and compile data and information for the preparation of documents, guidelines, speeches and position papers using website or content searches by selected themes;
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Assist with the procurement process
  • Help in preparing monthly newsletter 
  • Prepare the a draft of a press release for the events
  • Updating the website content when needed
  • Manage and update the PTP social media accounts and website.
  • Carry out any other duties as may be required by the direct supervisor

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Two year experience as a Finance and admin Assistant, programs coordinator or similar role 
  • BSc degree in Finance, Accounting , Business or Economic 
  • Proficient in MS Office (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Good communication and writing skills in Arabic and English.
