BACKGROUND

Founded in 2002 in Palestine, the Small Enterprise Center (SEC) Association is a renowned non-profit organization committed to advancing the growth, competitiveness, and sustainability of regional MSMEs and social enterprises. Through strategic partnerships with leading international organizations, SEC actively strengthens the MENA region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, positioning MSMEs and social enterprises as engines of economic development, poverty alleviation, and gender equality. Its policy advocacy efforts aim to establish an enabling environment that support their long-term success. 

SEC delivers innovative market access initiatives, product development programs, sustainability strategies, regional market research, and tailored capacity-building interventions, equipping MSMEs with the tools to compete globally, expand export, and access international trade opportunities. Furthermore, SEC champions green business practices, fostering responsible entrepreneurship that promotes environmental sustainability. By empowering youth and women-led enterprises, SEC drives inclusive growth, shaping a resilient, equitable and prosperous economic future.

2.0  JOB SUMMARY

The Field Coordinator Officer will play a crucial role in supporting SEC’s initiatives to enhance the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across the West Bank. The officer will work closely with stakeholders, business owners, and technical teams to ensure smooth project implementation.

3.0 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary Data Collection & Market Surveys
    • Conduct field research through field visit interviews with key informant to gather essential market insghits to feed the business plans .
    • Market Analysis: perform market rsurvey to assess and analyze business trends, consumer preferences, needs, and opportunities.
    • Prepare detailed reports and summary findings based on collected data.
  • Business Plan Development Support
    • Assist MSMEs in structuring and refining their business plans.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve business efficiency and sustainability
    • Identify bill of qunatities based on the developed businesses plans.
  • Procurement & Equipment Installation
    • Coordinate the procurement of required tools and equipment for MSMEs.
    • Oversee the delivery and installation process to ensure operational success.
    • Maintain clear communication with vendors, suppliers and MSME beneficiaries.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
  • Act as the liaison between SEC, MSMEs and relevant partners.
  • Maintain detailed field records by tracking project progress, identifying challenges, documenting outcomes, compile and submit regular reports to the project team. Ensure compliance with project guidelines and donor requirements.

متطلبات الوظيفة
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years in the following areas: field coordination, interviews, procurement, business development, and market research.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with flexibility to travel across the West Bank.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, market research techniques and reporting tools.
