Since its creation, the organisationhas set up programmes in approximately 60 countries and intervened in manyemergency situations
Under the supervision of the Administrative Officer, the administrative assistant, based in Gaza will ensure that the day-to-dayadministrative, human resources and cash flow management procedures inGaza are implemented and followed.
S/he will ensure the smooth running of theoffice in coordination with the different services of the HI Gazaoffice.

S/he Main tasks will include:
-Administrative management of the office & other premises in Gaza (relationship with landlords, insurance follow-up, supervision of cleaners and management of cleaners’ planning etc.).
-In charge of daily cash flow management (Management of cashboxes & bank accounts, monthly treasury needs forecast preparation and operation of transfers).
-Ensure the proper daily follow up of accountancy: Payments operation, record in and maintain journals, accountancy preparation & proper filling, and the transmission of originals on monthly basis to the head office.
-Ensure that all contractual documents existing are followed up on and consequently archived (Commercial, lease/rental, consultancies, HR, logistics…etc) and circulated to the head office.
-Follow-up of Human Resources file for national staff (prepare work contracts for national staff, keep updating their files, leave & sickness monitoring, and HR database regular update)
-Support the administrative officer in the administrative and financial daily management of the office : contracts drafting, staff management, translation.
-HI partners financial follow up: File all partnership agreements, update the partnets database on regular basis, preparation of partners financial reports according to the PA’s, operate transfers to the partners.
-Must have a bachelor degree in business administration or other related social sciences.
-At least 3 years experience in similar positions with international NGO’s preferable.
-Must have a strongpractical knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, outlook…etc).
-Must have strongorganizational skills, posses’ diplomatic, strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
-Should be aware to the needs of vulnerablegroups.
-Excellent knowledge in English language (written and spoken),

Initial contract will be for a period of 8 months and the position is based in Gaza.
