The GIZ project Demand Oriented TVET (DoTVET II) aims to improve the TVET system in Palestine by enhancing its alignment with the labour market, thus facilitating young people's entry into the job market.
It works in three areas: Governance / steering of TVET, Core Processes of TVET and Cooperative training formats between TVET institutions and the private sector.
To support our operations, DoTVET II is looking for an intern to assist the project in implementation of planned activities with special focus on gender mainstreaming, coordination and communication.

Tasks and Functions:
- Assist in collecting, analyzing and presenting gender-related data and research
- Support visibility and communication efforts related to gender equality and women`s empowerment within the TVET sector
- Assist in planning, coordination and follow-up of project activities
- Support the organization and facilitation of workshops, training sessions, stakeholder consultation, and other project events
- Contribute to the documentation of project activities, outcomes and lessons learned
- Assist in the logistical preparation and follow-up for meetings, workshops, and events
- Support day-to-day administrative tasks required for project implementation

Required qualifications, competence and experienc:
- Educational background in in a relevant field such as Gender Studies, Development Studies, Business Administration, Information Technology or Communications, with candidates being fresh graduates or final-year students.
- Ability to collect, organize, and analyse data to support project planning and reporting.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills to assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring activities
- Effective coordination and organizational skills to assist efficiently in planning, implementing, and monitoring activities
- Good knowledge of communication in development cooperation contexts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Technical proficiency in MS tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with survey tools and data platforms.
- Personal attributes including being proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to gender equality and social inclusion.
- Familiarity with the Palestinian socio-economic and educational and TVET context is highly desirable
Assignment: 3 months contract starting 01 September 2025 with possible extension up to 6 months in total

Financial Contribution: The internship is considered a learning and capacity-building opportunity and does not constitute an employment relationship with GIZ. In accordance with GIZ regulations, the intern will receive a monthly financial contribution as support for expenses during the internship period. This contribution is not a salary and does not entitle the intern to employment benefits.
