Intersect Advisory & Entrepreneurship Co. is a dynamic, for-profit consultancy firm offering tailored advisory and capacity-building services to local, regional, and international clients. One of our flagship service lines is staff augmentation, with a focus on hiring top local IT talent and seconding them to external organizations.

We are expanding, and we're looking for a strategic, results-driven Business Development Consultant to lead and grow our staff augmentation operations.

Job Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The selected candidate will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for:

Market Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and engage prospective clients across local, regional, and international markets.
  • Generate leads, pitch staff augmentation services, and secure long-term contracts.
  • Develop tailored proposals, capability statements, and presentations for clients.

Relationship & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Serve as the main point of contact during the negotiation and contracting phase.
  • Monitor ongoing placements and ensure high satisfaction of both clients and seconded staff.

Strategy & Business Planning

  • Lead the development of the staff augmentation strategy and pipeline.
  • Recommend new markets, sectors, and positioning strategies.
  • Maintain updated records of prospects, leads, and active contracts.

Collaboration & Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with HR to identify, screen, and propose suitable talent for client placements.
  • Coordinate with Finance on pricing models, invoicing, and contract profitability.
  • Monitor market trends and provide input on service offering improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in HR/staffing, IT consulting, outsourcing, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of securing contracts in local, regional, or international markets.
  • Strong network within the private, public, or development sectors is a strong asset.
  • Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and represent the company with professionalism and integrity.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
