Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Low Voltage Testing Engineer and Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This role requires expertise in low voltage systems, including surveillance systems, public address systems, network solutions, access control systems, intercoms, burglar alarm systems, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will ensure these systems are thoroughly tested, optimized, and supported effectively.

Responsibilities:

· Perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting for various low voltage systems, including:

o Surveillance systems

o Public address and voice alarm systems.

o Access control systems

o Intercom systems

o Burglar and intrusion detection systems.

o Network Solutions

· Test and validate new products, ensuring compliance with technical standards.

· Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients and technicians for installed systems.

· Diagnose and resolve issues with wiring, configuration, and system integration.

· Prepare test reports, technical documentation, and client training materials.

· Develop and maintain technical documents, including user manuals, installation guides, and test reports.

· Collaborate with sales and operations teams to meet client requirements.

· Monitor and report on system performance and recommend improvements.

· Train customers and staff on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or related fields.

· Experience: 3+ years’ experience in low voltage systems, networking, and technical support.

· Valid driving license.

Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating electrical and low voltage system schematics.

· Proficiency in using testing tools like multimeters, cable testers, and signal analyzers.

· Strong understanding of system layouts, wiring, and cabling principles.

· Knowledge of IP networking, PoE, and low voltage power distribution.

· Hands-on experience with product testing and documentation.

· Proficiency in diagnosing networking and system issues.

· Strong technical writing and reporting skills.

· Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
