Psychosocial Coordinator

Mercy Corps,an International non-governmental elief and development agency,is curently expanding activities in the Gaza strip.Mercy Corps is seeking a candidate for the following position for our office in Gaza
Duration :9 months with possibility of extension
Main Responsibilities :
The Psychosocial Coordinator will be responsible for the field-level coordination of the psychosocial activities for children carried out in partnership with local community-based organizations and local and international specialist organizations in the field of international mental health.
Requirements:
Applicants must hold a university degree at least at B.A level (M.A preferred).in psychology or occupational therapy with a interest in mental health or a realted field.Applicants must also have excellent planning,organization,and monitoring skills,and a demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with others associated with adequate communication skills.Applicants must be able to work independently as well as in teams.
Proficiency in MS Office ,excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic are essential requirements for this post and possession of a valid drivng license is highly desired.
