Position: Medical Department Coordinator (Hospital Based)

Type: Full-time/Fixed-Term Contract 

Location: South Gaza, Palestine 

Salary: ILS 6558.0 per Month

Reporting to: Medical Supervisor

About the Role:

MAP is seeking a Medical Department Coordinator at Nasser Hospital to support the smooth and high-quality operation of MAP-supported units. The role includes supervising staff performance, monitoring health indicators, coordinating between departments and MAP/EMT teams, supporting digital health tools, recommending clinical improvements, and enhancing patient feedback and MAP visibility within the hospital.

The successful candidate will ideally hold a degree in medicine and bring proven experience in hospital administration, data management, and coordinating Emergency Medical Team (EMT) missions. A strong grasp of Ministry of Health protocols—particularly in clinical practices, infection prevention and control (IPC), and disease surveillance—is essential. The role requires excellent leadership, reporting, and organisational skills, along with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Fluency in both English and Arabic is required, as well as confidence using electronic data collection tools and mobile health application
