EducAid is an Italian NGO working in the Palestinian Territory since 2003 with the aim of strengthening the rights of persons with disabilities.
In the framework of the project "EMI: Empowerment Mainstream Include” - AID 11733/EDUCAID/TOC and to complete building its human resources in the West Bank office, EducAid announces its need to hire an Economic Development Officer according to the following criteria:
Contract Type: Part Time (28 hours/week)
Duration: 10 months with possibility of renewal depending on funds availability
The Economic Development Officer will be responsible of the implementation of all the activities carried out by EducAid related to economic empowerment of persons of disablities in Palestine (PwDs)

A minimum of 1 year experience working in NGOs in the field of economic development or in credit institutions
Bachelor degree on economics, business administration or other relevant fields
Experience in dealing with suppliers and following procurement procedures
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage relations with partners.
Awareness and alignment with the right to work for PwDs.
Good communication skills
Good team spirit
Able to prioritize and anticipate, be reactive and flexible
Strong commitment to learning new skills and willingness to be accompanied toward the achievement of new competencies.
Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.
Availability to field visits within the WB.
Good writing skills and Computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Excellent Arabic and English (both written and spoken)
Valid driving license (preferred).
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Program Manager on the implementation of the activities.
Work closely with the EMI's partners and stakeholders in the economic development field.
Ensure monitoring of purchasing and distribution processes within the framework of the projects' activities
Partecipate in field operations (including need addessement, data collections, etc.)
Support the project manager in the planning and the organization of activities and in the coordination work with the relevant stakeholders
Support the organisation's staff in archiving relevant documents
Facilitate the monitoring and the reporting of the ongoing activities
Provide other activities planning and reporting based as request
