Position: Department Coordinator (Non-Medical) - Hospital Based

Location: South Gaza, Palestine
Salary: ILS 6,558 Month
Reporting to: Medical Supervisor

About the Role:
- Supervise and coordinate non-medical departments such as maintenance, IT, and security to maintain high standards of operational support.
- Oversee daily staff attendance, performance monitoring, and timely reporting to support seamless workflow across departments.
- Ensure timely and quality execution of maintenance work and upkeep of MAP-owned equipment and assets.
- Facilitate coordination between medical and non-medical teams to support patient referral pathways and integrated service delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including schedules, meeting minutes, and reports, to support program transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate closely with MAP’s Medical Supervisor, Ministry of Health staff, and Emergency Medical Teams to strengthen coordination and service quality.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Engineering, IT, administration, or a related field, with demonstrable experience in operations, logistics, or administrative coordination—preferably within hospital or healthcare settings. They have a solid understanding of emergency protocols, safety guidelines, and Ministry of Health clinical and IPC standards. This candidate is skilled in managing beneficiary feedback mechanisms and has proven experience in hospital operations, data collection, or similar roles. Organisational excellence, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are core strengths, complemented by effective written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
