The Enumerator is responsible for collecting data as part of assessments, surveys, or other research initiatives conducted by the organization.

Using smartphones or tablets equipped with data collection tools such as KOBO Collect, the Enumerator ensures high-quality, accurate data is collected to support evidence-based decision-making.

PROFILE’S MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Minimum high school diploma; additional training or education in social sciences, data management, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in data collection, field assessments, or working with INGOs/NGOs is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in using smartphones or tablets for data collection.
Familiarity with KOBO Collect, ODK, or similar mobile data collection platforms.
Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, Word) are a plus.
Upper-intermediate English level, enabling proper translation from English questionnaire to Arabic question

POSITION MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Collection:

Conduct field surveys, assessments, and interviews with individuals, households, or community members based on provided guidelines.
Use mobile data collection tools (e.g., KOBO Collect, ODK) to record responses accurately.
Ensure all questions are asked as written, without personal interpretation or bias.

Field Engagement:

Build rapport with respondents to foster trust and ensure high response rates.
Address any questions or concerns from respondents about the survey or assessment process.
Maintain sensitivity to cultural and social norms while interacting with community members.

Quality Assurance:

Review collected data to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
Identify and report any errors, inconsistencies, or technical issues encountered during data collection.

Coordination and Reporting:

Work closely with Field Supervisors and other team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and observations in the field.
Report security concerns or incidents encountered during fieldwork.

Ethical Considerations:

Uphold the principles of confidentiality and informed consent when handling respondent data.
Ensure adherence to organizational data protection policies and ethical guidelines.
