Communications and Creative Designer Advisor for Field Support Services Project (FSSP)
West Bank and Gaza
Background: Programming by Global Affairs Canada supports a two-state solution and is aligned with Palestinian needs and Canadian priorities. Assistance focuses on humanitarian assistance and resilience, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and justice sector reform.
Together with its partners, Canada supports elements of the Palestinian National Policy Agenda 2017-22 “Putting Citizens First”, and the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Accordingly, the efforts are focused on two main objectives: sustaining the resilience of the most vulnerable Palestinians (by protecting human dignity and fostering growth that works for everyone); and supporting the potential for a Palestinian state (by promoting inclusive governance, and peace and security). Canada and its partners particularly emphasize improving gender equality among Palestinians, and empowering Palestinian women and girls, including initiatives aligned with Canada’s National Plan on Women, Peace and Security.
