Academic Project Writer (International Grants & Academic Programs)

The Smart College University for Modern Education is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Academic Project Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing academic and institutional project proposals, especially for international grants and academic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality concept notes and full proposals for academic and institutional projects.
• Analyze calls for proposals and align project ideas with funders' objectives.
• Collaborate with internal academic teams and external partners.
• Manage submission processes and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
• Conduct research, needs assessments, and data collection to support proposals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in writing successful grant proposals for international funding.
• Strong knowledge of international academic programs and funding mechanisms.
• Excellent English writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in academic institutions or NGOs.
• Familiarity with project budgeting and logical frameworks (logframe).
• Knowledge of the Palestinian higher education and development context is a plus.
