Security Guard

JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the HR & Admin Coordinator and the overall guidance of the SecurityAdvisor, the Security Guard is responsible for safeguarding people, property, and assets by enforcing security measures and maintaining a secure environment.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Verify the identification of individuals entering secured premises to the hospital or warehouses.

Ensure the security of the entire premises.

Inspect doors, windows, and gates to identify and address vulnerabilities.

Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.

Effectively handle crises and assist when required.

Interact with visitors, employees, and residents in a professional and courteous manner. Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Keen attention to detail and strong observational skills.

Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

High level of integrity and ethical conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

High secondary school or equivalent.

Preferably certified in security or safety fields (e.g., first aid or fire-fighting courses).

Previous experience in security or a similar environment is an added advantage.

Physical fitness: Ability to patrol and move quickly when necessary.

Familiarity with security systems: Knowledge of surveillance equipment, security cameras, and alarm systems.

Ability to work under pressure: Stay calm and focused in emergencies.
