Security Guard

JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the HR & Admin Coordinator and the overall guidance of the SecurityAdvisor, the Security Guard is responsible for safeguarding people, property, and assets by enforcing security measures and maintaining a secure environment.  

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Verify the identification of individuals entering secured premises to the hospital or warehouses. 

• Ensure the security of the entire premises. 

• Inspect doors, windows, and gates to identify and address vulnerabilities. 

• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents. 

• Effectively handle crises and assist when required. 

• Interact with visitors, employees, and residents in a professional and courteous manner. Effective verbal and written communication skills. 

• Keen attention to detail and strong observational skills. 

• Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities. 

• High level of integrity and ethical conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 

• High secondary school or equivalent. 

• Preferably certified in security or safety fields (e.g., first aid or fire-fighting courses). 

• Previous experience in security or a similar environment is an added advantage. 

• Physical fitness: Ability to patrol and move quickly when necessary. 

• Familiarity with security systems: Knowledge of surveillance equipment, security cameras, and alarm systems. ‎ 

• ‎Ability to work under pressure: Stay calm and focused in emergencies.‎
