Women for Women International Palestine is a non-profit organization with a registered Country Office in Palestine under the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy. Since 1993, our global community has invested in the power of over 550,000 women across 17 conflict-affected countries, creating a ripple effect that promotes a more equal, peaceful, and prosperous world.

As a women’s rights organization, Women for Women International is committed to providing critical support to women survivors of violence in Palestine. This includes adapting our comprehensive economic and social empowerment program, “Stronger Women, Stronger Nations,” to address the unique challenges faced by women in Palestine. We aim to provide holistic assistance to survivors of gender-based and conflict-related violence in the occupied Palestinian territory, offering access to psychosocial and economic support that empowers them to rebuild their lives and thrive within their communities.

Women for Women International (WFWI) is seeking two passionate, skilled Program Trainers to join our team in Hebron. As part of the Stronger Women, Stronger Nations (SWSN) program, you will play a key role in empowering women by delivering high-impact social and economic empowerment training tailored to the needs of women in our communities.

Purpose: 

Under the leadership of the Program and Partnership Coordinator, the SWSN Program Trainers will be responsible for developing and contextualizing training materials and delivering training classes to groups of women as outlined in the WFWI curriculum of Social Empowerment and Economic Empowerment. The Program Trainers will also provide support and guidance to women participants outside of the classroom by conducting home visits, tutorial sessions, and participant mentoring as needed. Additionally, the Program Trainers will support the preparation, planning, delivery, documentation, administration, and evaluation of training sessions.

Key responsibilities, include but not limited to: 

  • Deliver training sessions in line with WFWI’s adult learning methodologies and SWSN curriculum.
  • Support women participants through mentoring, tutorial sessions, and home visits.
  • Collaborate with national and local partners to co-deliver context-specific training.
  • Facilitate Training of Trainers (ToT) and build capacity of community facilitators.
  • Engage in community outreach and represent WFWI at key public events.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for effective planning, delivery, and monitoring of sessions.
  • Collect and report on participant data and contribute to training evaluation efforts.
  • Represent WFWI in radio talk shows and community forums to promote women’s rights and economic empowerment themes.
  • Collect and document case studies, impact stories, and participant photos for use in program reporting and advocacy.

  • Promote DEIB principles, safeguarding, and WFWI values in all interactions.

Job Requirements

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

Required
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, Social Sciences, Psychology, Business, or related fields.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in non-formal education, community mobilization, or women’s empowerment.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills; experience with adult learners preferred.
  • Knowledge of women’s rights, gender equality, and local cultural dynamics.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative, with strong organizational and mentoring skills.
  • Proficient in Arabic; English is an asset. Strong MS Office and digital communication skills.
  • Ability to work in Hebron H2 area on a daily basis and with flexible hours when needed.
