Work context

CESVI has been working in Palestine since 1994, and it has developed over the years an expertise in the area of water, Solid Waste Management, sanitation and environment through the implementation of projects in the field, establishing partnerships with relevant actors in the sector and thanks to active participation in the WASH cluster.

CESVI is currently implementing projects in the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip.

CESVI is looking for a dynamic and experienced candidate for the position of MEAL Coordinator based in Jerusalem office and supporting  the West Bank and Gaza offices

Main Tasks & Duties 

  • Supports the implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Plans
  • Supports the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual narrative, qualitative and quantitative reports
  • Conducts the monitoring, verification and evaluation of the project (baseline, endline, etc.)
  • Ensures proper functioning of the complaints and feedback mechanism to reinforce the

accountability to beneficiaries

  • Manage the Performance Monitoring Framework (PMF), including monitoring tables of the indicators
  • Identifies lessons learnt and develops case studies to acquire quality results of the project.
  • Conducts key informant interviews (KIIs) with stakeholders that may include project staff, beneficiaries and members of the community.
  • Translates tools and documents into local languages
  • Archives and stores all monitoring records, including electronic and hard copies of collected data.

Job Requirements

Degree in social sciences, statistic, development studies or related areas

At least three (3) years of experience in the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation reporting and research working with NGOs/UN agencies.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Good communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Access etc.) and experience in the management of web-based applications for data management and analysis.

Valid driving license
