Logistics Officer
For an initial six months
The Candidate will:
-Follow-up procurement planning and lead the procurement follow up process.
-Assist the Log Manager in supporting the bases on the writing of tender dossier, contracts and other documents related to the procurement procedures.
-Be a referent staff for all tender processes and serve on the selection committees.
-Develop and maintain procurement mechanisms according to ACF procedures.
-Undertake procurement in the capital office respecting the ACF procurement procedures.
-Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
-Manage the validation process of procurement at capital level.
-Develop and organise the mission hard copy filing system for procurement and maintain the logistics soft copy filing on the capital server.
-Develop the use of framework contracts to implement project activities in coordination with the Log Manager.
-Develop and complete database, catalogues and suppliers list for the mission.
-Provide support to the bases for all purchase and procurement matters.
-Undertake driving duties when required.
-Write monthly report on the mission procurement process.
Profile of the Candidate:
-Bachelors degree in logistics, procurement, business administration or related field.
-Minimum three years of relevant professional experience in procurement or logistics. Experience with an INGO is a plus.
-Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written). Hebrew is a plus.
-IT: Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Access, and PP).
-Motivation and commitment to humanitarian work
-Good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
-Well organized and rigorous
-Valid driving license
-Jerusalem ID holder
