Accounting & Finance Manager

Job Description

A well-established company in the pharmaceutical and medical supply sector is seeking a qualified Accounting & Finance Manager to lead its financial operations in Ramallah. This role is central to managing the company’s financial health, providing key financial insights to support strategic decision-making and ensuring tax and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail-oriented, and capable of leading a small finance team within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies as well as local regulatory requirements.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulations.

Lead the annual budgeting process, manage forecasts, and monitor cash flow to support operational continuity.

Ensure full compliance with Palestinian income tax and VAT laws, including preparation, filing, and coordination with tax authorities and external auditors.

Analyze financial performance, conduct variance analysis, and deliver reports to senior management to support strategic planning.

Manage payroll processing, including salary calculations, benefits, and adherence to labor regulations.

Maintain internal financial policies and operating procedures, and continuously improve documentation and controls.

Oversee relationships with banks, manage credit facilities and capital financing arrangements, and ensure timely bank reconciliations.

Coordinate and manage annual audits, acting as the main point of contact for external auditors.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Minimum 5 years of financial management experience in a for-profit company.

Proficiency in Bisan ERP or a similar accounting/finance platform.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. financial functions, reporting).

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking.

Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Resident of Ramallah and available for full-time, in-person work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Holds a recognized professional accounting certification from an accredited regional or international body.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG sectors.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
