EUBAM Rafah

The European Union Border Assistance Mission at the Rafah Crossing Point (EUBAM Rafah) was launched on 24 November 2005 to monitor operations at the Rafah border between Gaza and Egypt. Acting as a neutral third party, the Mission supports the implementation of the Agreement on Movement and Access between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, and works to strengthen Palestinian border management capacities.

أُطلقت بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي للمساعدة الحدودية في معبر رفح (EUBAM Rafah) في 24 نوفمبر 2005، لمراقبة تشغيل المعبر الحدودي بين غزة ومصر. وتقوم البعثة بدور طرف ثالث محايد لدعم تنفيذ اتفاقية الحركة والوصول بين إسرائيل والسلطة الفلسطينية، وتعزيز قدرات إدارة الحدود الفلسطينية.
