Web Developer

Ahleia Insurance Group, a top tier insurance company in Palestine seeking highly motivated, intuitive and results oriented a Junior Web Developer to build, assist and develop the company’s website and its applications using various recent technologies.  The Junior Developer will play a central role in the company’s restructuring team and will report directly to the Head of Corporate Development.  

Requirements:
-BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
-Minimum of 3+ years development experience
-Solid front end skills and well-versed in HTML, CSS, and Javascript
-Excellent experience working on websites – entire lifecycle
-Passionate about development as a whole and willing to make use of other languages/technologies where necessary
-Ability to research emerging technologies and identify possible applications
-Make a point of being aware of, and implementing, Web Standards and good coding practices, as well as user-oriented design
-Ability to drive new concepts and ideas
-Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
-Able to multitask in a demanding environment

Technical Skills:
-Experience with PHP5
-Experience with MySQL database design and development
-Flash
-Action Script 2/3
-Flex
-Classic ASP / VB Script / ASP.Net, C / C++ / C#, Java, Python or Ruby
-Mobile experience & Design experience (Bonus)
