Al-Ghassan Systems is looking to hire a Technical Support/Developer employee to provide technical support and resolution to customers as well as assisting the development team in data-related scripts. We are seeking a self-motivated and positive individual that takes the initiative to make improvements for the clients and to the company. The employee will work in a fast-paced agile development environment and must be able to manage communication between developers and clients quickly, work as part of a team, and see assignments through to completion. We are seeking a person with 1 to 2 years work experience.


Role and Desccription:


The Technical Support /Developer employee will respond to client requests mainly over the phone and carry out the following tasks: Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, training, and providing technical support and assistance as needed. The employee will be trained on all the company’s systems from a technical and business application perspective. The employee will be responsible for logging all clients’ requests and follow up on them until they are completed. Field visits are part of the job and the candidate must possess excellent communication skills to relay technical and business information to clients.  As for the development part, the employee will be required to write PL/SQL scripts to manipulate, export and import clients’ data. The employee is also expected to carry out database transactions as needed. Programming with C# tasks will be assigned as well.

متطلبات الوظيفة

Skills Required

A degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or any related field.

Excellent Database Management Skills and SQL 

Programing in C# or any similar is required.

Excellent IT and computer skills.

Experience with supporting and training end-users

Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)

Previous experience with Oracle Database is a plus.
PL/SQL knowledge is a plus. (This is necessary for the job, but we will provide the necessary training for it)

A collaborative and team-oriented personality is a must

A continued interest in emerging technologies and the desire to keep learning is essential
