A leading company based in Ramallah is seeking a skilled Senior IT Support Specialist / Senior System Administrator to join its team.
Job Title: Senior IT Support Specialist / Senior System Administrator

Job Purpose
To manage and optimize core IT infrastructure, with deep focus on virtualization, server management, email systems, and network security. This senior role also includes leading infrastructure projects and mentoring junior team members to ensure IT operations run smoothly and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, file services)
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi / Hyper-V)
- Administer Microsoft Exchange (on-premises / hybrid) & Office 365
- Configure and maintain enterprise firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco)
- Provide L2/L3 technical support and escalate complex incidents
- Ensure backup and disaster recovery policies are in place
- Enforce IT security policies and conduct regular system audits
- Document IT systems, procedures, and asset inventory
- Coordinate cross-departmental IT needs and remote support
- Lead system upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience
- Expertise in:
- Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025
- VMware or Hyper-V
- Exchange Server / Office 365
- Enterprise firewall management
- Preferred certifications: MCSA/MCSE, VMware VCP, CCNA
- Strong knowledge of networking, storage, and security systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
