System Administrator

A Leading ISP is looking to recruit highly motivated persons for the following vacancies

Job Title: System Administrator

Job Responsibilities:
-Troubleshoot complex networking issues as well as tuning kernel parameters.
-Manage large numbers of servers through different means (automation, manual and virtualization). 
-Configure Web application software’s and their associated applications such as mysql, apache, oracle, MS SQL, tomcat, Java,  PHP, Python,  squid,  memcached …. etc.
-Configure different types of Mail Servers  Exim, Imail …etc and associated electronic safety systems and web hosting security solutions.
-Install/maintain and troubleshoot VMware, Cpanel systems.
-Demonstrate excellent customer service skills through all levels of communication.
-Contribute to the knowledgebase to help build the best customer experience.
-Work closely with the team to ensure that all company and personal goals are met or exceeded.

Qualifications & Experience:
-BSc. degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
-At least 1-2 years real experience in Linux and Unix systems

Skills and Competencies:
-Experienced in Linux/windows system administration.
-Programming experience, knowledge of  PHP,  Java, ..etc.
-Quick learner, self-starter, willing to work in new areas.
-Experience in Mail systems and web hosting techniques with their related security systems.
-Strong communication and collaboration skills used in a multi-disciplinary environment
-Excellent experience in managing networking services (DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, SMTP, NFS, SSL ..etc)
-Knowledge in MYSQL/MSSQL/Oracle databases.
-Knowledge in Active Directory and LDAP systems.
-Knowledge in clustering deployment as well as in managing storages.
-Good experience in Linux Firewall and Security.
-Good Communication and Reporting Skills
