Role Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our technical teams and drive the successful delivery of our software projects.

If you’re a technical leader who can work closely with Tech Leads, Senior Developers and Product Owners to ensure projects are delivered on time and with top quality

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee software development teams and guide Tech Leads to ensure optimal performance.
• Contribute to strategic project planning in collaboration with Product Owners.
• Make key technical decisions and ensure the best practices and tools are applied.
• Guide the design of robust database architectures and well-structured microservices aligned with business needs.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.
• Support the professional growth of team members and help resolve complex technical challenges.
• Encourage and oversee the integration of AI tools and techniques into development workflows.
• Step in when needed to engage with clients and ensure project success.

Work Conditions

• Location: FIS Headquarters – Ramallah, Palestine (on-site).
• Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Employment Contract.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate fluently with international clients.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of modern programming languages and technologies (such as C#.NET, React, etc.).
• Proven experience in database design and optimization, and in building scalable microservices architectures.
• Practical experience with Agile/Scrum and managing technical teams.
• Familiarity with AI tools, machine learning concepts, or experience integrating AI-enhanced development workflows is a strong plus.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively.
