Project Manager for Training Programs

Birzeit University announces the need for a “Project Manager for Training Programs " with a Full-time temporary contract on a project at Center for Continuing Education, according to the following qualifications and tasks:

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. 1. Instructional Design Support: Provide instructional design support to trainers and subject matter experts, assisting in the development of engaging and effective learning materials, assessments, and activities.
2. 2. Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning and execution of training programs from conception to completion, ensuring that all milestones are met within established timelines and budget constraints.
3. 3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and other key stakeholders to identify training needs, develop curriculum outlines, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
4. 4. Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, materials, and technology, to support the delivery of high-quality training programs.
5. 5. Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous standards of quality throughout the training process, monitoring program effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary to enhance learner outcomes.
6. 6. Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of training activities, participant feedback, and program evaluations, and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. At least Bachelor's degree in Economics, Development, Business Administration, or related field. (higher degrees are preferred)
2. Proven experience managing training programs in a corporate or educational setting, with a minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience.
3. Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies, with experience in providing instructional design support to trainers and subject matter experts.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands effectively.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build consensus around training objectives.
6. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project) and learning management systems (e.g., Moodle) preferred.
7. Certification in project management and/or instructional design (Training of Trainers Certificate) a plus.
8. Very good level in English.
