Project Field Supervisor

PARC will be implementing the project: “Enhancing Drought Resillience through innovative Water
Management in the Gaza Strip” (EDRIWM), which is funded by the BMZ-Grmany, and will be implemented in different governorates in the Gaza Strip. In order to strengthen its technical team in the implementation of the project, PARC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced applicant as follows:-

Job Title: Project Field Supervisor

Responsibilities and activities defined in this job description are not exhaustive and can evolve
depending on the project needs.

Objectives: Coordinate effective implementation of (EDRIWM) Project.
Department: Programs Operation and Development.
Report to: Project Technical Coordinator.
Project Duration: 36 months
Contract: one year renewable

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The project coordinator specific roles will be:
Under the direct supervision of the EDRIWM Project Coordinator, the Field Supervisor is
responsible for the qualitative, quantitative and timely implementation of the project activities.
He/she coordinates and monitors the work dedicated to these activities and he/she is responsible
for a qualitative and regular reporting on various components of the project.
-Supervise the planning and implementation of project activities.
-Supervise the Design and prepare all required forms for all project implementation stages.
-Take part in the technical assessment, design and implementation of all program activities.
-Plan (daily and weekly) the field activities, supervise Field Workers and any potential contractors
and ensure a follow-up of the different activities regarding the agreed planning, guideline, and
required quality of the works.
-Ensure that all measures have been taken and rules followed to ensure security on-site;
-Give an expertise and contribute to the improvement of activities through critics, analysis and suggestions;
-Support and participate to the other activities of the EDRIWM team when required.
-Collect any relevant information from the communities and partners.
-Assist on the communication between PARC and the Communities regarding the implementation
of the EDRIWM activities;
-Mobilize and encourage the Communities for the activities (daily and free worker);

QUALIFICATIONS

Education required: Bachelor's Degree in agriculture, civil engineer with relation to agriculture
and water irrigation, water supply, sanitation.
-Work experience 2 years experience in a similar position (NGOs/private companies) in Water
Supply & Sanitation fields
-Computer skills: Good knowledge of the MS office software.
-Transversal skills:
-Well organized. - Conflict resolution and diplomacy experience
-Ability to take initiative to deal with difficulties encountered in daily work
-Ability to adapt or change priorities according to the changing situation within a mission or the organization itself
-Able to manage stress and pressure.
