Job Title: Project Coordinator- Full time

Location: Ramallah, Palestine

Starting Date: December 1st, 2021

Job Summary

A leading Non-Governmental Organization based in Ramallah is looking to hire a Project Coordinator (PC). The PC is a full-time position based in Ramallah, Palestine. The PC will be responsible for the overall project management cycle including; fine tuning and providing strategic direction to project team, lead and produce annual plans and budgets and any amendments, develop quality donor reports, quality assurance and effective leading, and provide management and leadership to project team. Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, coordination, and meetings with partner organization and donor as necessary
  • Preparation of detailed and effective project action plan for project activities
  • Ensure all project activities are implemented in a timely manner and according to donor’s rules and regulations
  • Create and implement detailed work plans needed to successfully complete the project
  • Conduct periodical field visits to verify project activities are implemented according to contractual targets
  • Ensure that all subordinates have clearly defined objectives and understand their responsibilities;
  • Establish result-based work planning and follow up system
  • Lead the development of communication and visibility materials for the program
  • Ensure that all donor branding and visibility requirements are fulfilled

Reporting functions:

  • Write project’s reports for the donor in accordance with their guidelines and in a timely manner
  • Prepare technical and financial report for management to review, and ensure all partners reports are compiled and submitted on time
  • Ensure monitoring of all ongoing programs and activities, and full supervisory role over partners deliverables
  • Monitor all project progress against the action-plan and budget, and ensure necessary adjustments are made when needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in business administration or any relevant field.  Preferably in International Business or related topics
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the NGO sector, a minimum of 2 years of which must have been in a supervisory role. Additional private sector experience is highly desirable
  • Proven record of success and mastering project management cycle and donor communication
  • Accomplished level in key competencies; delivering results, networking and influencing and cooperation Rights-based approach and participatory approach 
  • Proven experience and training in Monitoring and Follow up
  • Provide necessary technical and methodological supports for need assessment and take a leading role in project development

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic
