Oracle Data Base administrator

A private company based in Ramallah, is looking for Oracle Data Base administrator

Oracle DBA Duties:
-Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
-A good knowledge of Oracle security management & Oracle Integrity management.
-Provide a strategic database direction for the organization
-Setup and maintain documentation and standards
-Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
-Establish, manage and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
-Tune all Oracle instance components including SQL and PL/SQL scripting.
-Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)
-Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring
-Patch Management and Version Control
-Create new production environments and conduct user acceptance testing.
-Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams
-Provide periodic status reports
-Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills required:
-Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related experience.
-Two or more years of experience working in a high demand, service-oriented environment.
-Experience  with Oracle 10g and 11g is required
-Experience in Oracle database 11g R2
-Knowledge of ALL Oracle backup and recovery scenarios.
-Expert knowledge of triggers, stored procedures, and functions
-Experience architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions
-Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours
-Ability to solve problems / high pressure issues.
-Fluent in English communication.
