Business Alliance HR is recruiting a Marketing and Business Development Manager for a Regional Manufacturing Company working in the Pharmaceutical industry. The job location can be either in Palestine or the UAE.
Job Summary: 
The Marketing and Business Development Manager's key responsibility is to help the company expand its portfolio and footprint in the region, especially in the Gulf market (mainly KSA). 
The Manager is responsible for optimizing  the product portfolio, developing marketing strategies, evaluating ROI of marketing activities across different markets, identifying global business opportunities, conducting feasibility studies and contract preparations, and collaborating with country managers for export plans.
Contract Type: Permanent. Full-time.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for managing the company's portfolio of products in the region and developing strategies to achieve the perfect product mix for maximum revenue and profit growth.
  2. Conduct continuous and methodological evaluation of potential products to be added to the portfolio, considering commercial, scientific, financial, and technical factors in different markets to achieve market leadership.
  3. Provide management with scientific studies and research to support product-related strategies and portfolio management.
  4. Continuously search for new molecules worldwide, and then evaluate these molecules regarding the company’s portfolio.
  5. Develop marketing strategies for specific therapeutic classes and review marketing plans for various subsidiaries to maximize the return on product investments.
  6. Participate in executive and board meetings to discuss products and portfolio.
  7. Evaluate the ROI for marketing activities in different countries and different subsidiaries.
  8. Collaborate with the country manager to prepare the export registration plan for the upcoming year.
  9. Ensure alignment of the strategic marketing direction with all marketing managers across the group companies.
  10. Explore business opportunities in MENA, Africa and other regions to facilitate both organic and in-organic company growth. 
  11. Identify new business opportunities in terms of business alliances, partnerships, investment, and co-development/manufacturing. 
  12. Prepare various types of contracts with potential partners and feasibility studies for various projects.

متطلبات الوظيفة
Special Requirements & Skills: 
  1. Proven experience in senior positions in a multinational company, preferably in marketing functions.
  2. Extensive knowledge of market dynamics in MENA (eg. Jordan, KSA).
  3. Deep understanding of the pharmaceuticals registration requirements locally and regionally.
  4. Experience in financial feasibility analysis.
  5. Excellent presentation skills.
  6. Strong communication and organizational skills.
  7. Willingness and ability to travel.
Years of experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Business Industry. 
Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a related subject.
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceuticals or MD (a must).
Palestine or the UAE.

Fluent in English.
Arabic is preferred.
