PAC is looking for talented candidate to fill its full-time IT Technical Support & Procurement officer position based in Ramallah.

-Configuring new desktops, laptops, printers and projectors; Managing IT inventory and maintaining the availability of frequently used items.
-Maintenance of PAC internal systems.
-Troubleshooting and supporting network environments.
-Maintain and organize the IT unit files.
-Provide support in preparing the IT procurement.
-Perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on staff computers.
-Perform system upgrades as necessary for software and hardware related components as needed.
-Perform, monitor and control asset (hardware and software) inventory and equipment, in addition to any additional IT-related task assigned by the IT Manager.
-Knowledge of Windows clients and servers.
-Providing support for Various Windows Editions, PC technology and various Microsoft Office Editions.
-Determine the appropriate software according to the set plans and visions of PAC.
-Developing periodic reports related to the activities of the department.
-Handling any other work related activities as per the direction of the IT manager.
-Develops the Procurement function's policies and procedures to control all activities within the department.
-Negotiate payment terms and discounts with suppliers to secure items and services in the specified form, quality, quantity and time-frame required and at the most advantageous price.
-Participate with the Finance Director in developing the procurement function's strategies.
-Initiates Purchase Order, securing appropriate approvals and accounting codes.
-Obtains quotes, selects vendors and negotiates prices.
-Keeps accurate records, detailing price histories and past experiences.
-Replace either any of the IT Staff when needed.
Desired Skills & Experience
-More than two years of experience in IT; Procurement experience (Preferable).
-Self-motivated and positive thinking.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Experience in supporting both technical and non-technical users on deployed solutions.
-Computer hardware and Networking, CCNA, MCSA or MCITP is plus.
-Ability to demonstrate knowledge in ERP systems implementation.
-Excellent analytical, communication and critical thinking skills in a project setting in a client facing role.
-Good knowledge in programming languages.
-Strong staff service oriented communication skills (English & Arabic: oral and written).
-Good knowledge in Microsoft Administration and SQL.
-Excellent problem solving skills.
-Ability to work under pressure.
-Ability to work independently
-BS in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or any related field
