Financial Planning and Reporting Manager

A well-reputed group of companies is seeking a qualified professional for the position of Financial Planning and Reporting Manager at its headquarters in Ramallah, Palestine to manage the financial reporting process across the group and its companies. The incumbent will also be responsible for the financial planning and budgeting processes. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies, plans, policies & procedures in line with the overall strategic objectives, and assist in the yearly audits and preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Group
  • Lead the coordination with Heads of Department/Managers to collate, review and compile CAPEX, OPEX manpower and/or any project requirements 
  • Establish budget controls for monitoring and tracking spend against approved in accordance with applicable financial regulations and best practices
  • Conduct periodic review of financial performance to prepare forecasts and support financial planning 
  • Lead financial data analysis and oversee preparation/generation of monthly consolidated financial statements, budget reports and financial forecasts as required to support financial decision making 
  • Work closely with Head of Finance to explore opportunities to create efficiencies in financial reporting and budgeting processes through automation and digitization 
  • Maintain oversight of company’s financial health and work with Risk & Corporate Excellence team to identify, evaluate and mitigate any financial risks related to budgeting and reporting 
  • Facilitate internal and external financial audits and ensure any observations are suitably addressed in a timely manner

  • Master’s degree in accounting or finance or related discipline is required or bachelor degree with professional qualification such as CPA, CMA, CFA or similar qualification.  
  • 7-8 years of relevant experience
  • Strong command of English both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills. 
  • Demonstrated capability and mindset of working closely with team members and delivering quality work under tight schedule.
