Arab American University Jenin (AAUJ) has received a grant from the Quality Improvement Fund
(QIF) – MOEHE through the World Bank Tertiary Education Project to implement the project of
«Mathematics Pre-Service Teacher Education Development Program» and intends to apply part of
this grant for the recruitment of a highly qualified E-Learning Consultant.
The Consultant will be responsible for developing training material and training 4 educators under
the supervision of the Project Manager, project director and the Steering Committee.

Assignment Objective
Assign a highly qualified consultant to prepare training material and train (4)educators in the pre
–service science teacher education project in Quality Assurance.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
1-Study the training needs of the target group
2-Submit a training schedule based on the target group needs
3-Prepare training Material in Quality Assurance(QA).
4-Train four educators in pre-service math teacher education project on Quality Assurance.
5-Co-operate with members of education faculties and departments where it is needed.
6-Modify the training material according to the comments from project Director and Project
Manager and steering committee and international consultant..

Qualifications & Skills:
1-PHD or M.A from an accredited university in Education or Quality Assurance,
2-Good professional experience in Higher Education & Quality Assurance
3-Excellent communication and networking skills.
4-Excellent reporting and formal writing skills ..
5-Excellent technical, interpersonal and administrative skills.
6-Excellent knowledge in (TE) Strategy in Palestine.
7-Familiar in Palestine Education System.

Time Frame:
The duration of the assignment is three months.

4-Introduction describes the content of the training material.

6-Criteria of Quality Assurance in Higher Education programs.
7-Activities about Quality Assurance,.

10-Train Educators according to the prepared training materials
