Action Against Hunger is recruiting for its Hebron office a

Full-Time Admin & Finance Intern

For a period of 6 months.

The candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate accounting system ensuring the daily data entry in AGRESSO.
  • Support in the timely submission of monthly closure and annual closure through the submission of the updated bank and cash books and do matching of Class 4 accounts monthly.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions – to include verification of payment requests and cash advances, cash and cheque preparation, and release of payments.
  • Responsible in maintaining good bank management – keeping all bank accounts of the organization up-to-date (opening and closing of bank accounts, updating of authorized signatories whenever necessary.
  • Guarantee a timely cash and bank payments after the reception and verification of all related supporting documents.
  • Support the proper control of the supporting documents for payments and financial reports to projects, preparation of all types of vouchers.
  • Maintain a daily Financial Archiving.
  • Assist in a Timesheet process at the Base
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals
  • Register and distributes internally incoming correspondence,
  • Copy and scan documents according to their needs.
  • Administrative support to conferences, workshops, retreats
  • Handling adhoc inquiries on payments and other financial transactions.
  • Maintain an office filing system and assist in archiving.

متطلبات الوظيفة
  • A degree in finance, accounting, business administration, Information technology or any related field
  • At least 1 years' experience in finance and Administrative related field, preferably with an international organization.
  • Previous experience with financial duties, including handling of petty cash, local Partners Management,
  • Proficiency in use of spreadsheets, word processing and computerized accounting systems.
  • Financial Reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and successfully conduct negotiations at different levels.
  • Solid organizational skills: the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
