Ref. # 8/2025
The Palestinian Youth Association for Leadership and Rights Activation (PYALARA) is seeking quotations from qualified suppliers for the provision of supplies and materials to implement a VR video production training program for a group of university students as well as a competition for creating short interactive VR-360 videos.
This activity is part of the project: "Toward Increase Social Responsibility of Palestinian Community and Higher Accountability of Duty Bearers: Consolidated Efforts to Combat GBV and Discrimination of Marginalized Palestinian Women", implemented in partnership with The Women’s Centre for Legal Aid and Counselling (WCLAC) and funded by The UN Trust Fund (UNTF).
About PYALARA:
The Palestinian Youth Association for Leadership and Rights Activation (PYALARA) established in 1999, is a pioneering youth-focused organization operating across the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza Strip. PYALARA empowers young Palestinians aged 13 and 25 through programs that promote civic engagement, leadership development, and media production.
At the core of PYALARA’s mission is advancement of youth rights, social inclusion and active participation in local and national decision-making process. The association places particular emphasis on reaching marginalized communities, aiming to cultivate young leaders capable of driving social and political change within their societies.
PYALARA has also played foundational role in fostering a media culture in Palestine. As the first organization to offer Palestinian youth dedicated media platforms—both print and visual—PYALARA enabled young people to voice their concerns and engage directly with officials and policymakers. Its initiatives include the launch of Palestine’s first youth newspaper, Voice of Palestinian Youth, and the production of pioneering television programs such as Ali Sawtak, Talat Maqdisiya, and other youth-led media projects.
Objective:
PYALARA aims to procure the necessary supplies and materials to carry out a comprehensive training program on VR video production for Palestinian university students. This initiative will also support the launch of a competition focused on the creation of short, interactive VR-360° videos, encouraging participants to apply their newly developed skills in a creative and impactful way.
