Strengthening Support for Social Entrepreneurs in Palestine
About BuildPalestine
BuildPalestine is a leading organization committed to empowering Palestinian changemakers by connecting them with the resources, skills, and networks they need to build sustainable and impactful social enterprises. We work across three core areas: awareness building, direct enterprise support, and ecosystem strengthening.
At BuildPalestine, we define a social enterprise as a financially viable venture that prioritizes societal benefits over maximizing profit for its owners and shareholders. This is accomplished through income-generating activities, while also tackling social, environmental, and community issues.
About the Opportunity
As part of the Impact Together! (I2G) project, funded by the European Union, BuildPalestine is launching a call for proposals to identify one SESO (Social Entrepreneurship Support Organization) (e.g., incubator, accelerator, charity or support entity) in Palestine focused on deepening their capacity to support social entrepreneurs.
Impact Together! promotes and strengthens the social economy as a driver for job creation and inclusive economic opportunities across the MENA region.
What We’re Offering
Support will be customized based on the needs of the selected organization and may include:
- Financial support of up to EUR 30,000 to strengthen ongoing operations and staffing
- Co-design of program curriculum and support services
- Mentorship on program implementation and delivery
- Strategic support to strengthen organizational systems (e.g., outreach, monitoring and evaluation, or partner engagement)
- Additional interventions based on your organization's specific needs
This initiative aligns with BuildPalestine’s mission to nurture a resilient, interconnected, and impact-driven social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Palestine.
What We’re Looking For
We invite proposals from organizations that:
- Are based and formally registered in Palestine and identify as a SESOs.
- Are actively supporting social entrepreneurs and looking to deepen or scale existing work—not start from scratch
- Are committed to supporting social entrepreneurs in the long-term, and see this support as part of a sustainable, ongoing journey—not a one-off initiative.
- Can demonstrate how this partnership will amplify their existing work and improve outcomes for the entrepreneurs they support
How to Apply
Proposals should be submitted using this application form by June 10, 2025.
We strongly encourage applications from mission-driven organizations that are deeply committed to growing the social entrepreneurship movement in Palestine—those that share our belief that local solutions can drive systemic change.
