Local Governance Reform Program

Call for proposals: Consultancy service to Support the PA reform efforts in Local government sector: Improving intergovernmental relations through decentralisation and functions optimization 

The Local Governance Reform Program of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ-LGRP) supports reform measures in the local governance sector in Palestine in partnership with relevant national institutions such as the Ministry of Local Government (MoLG), the Municipal Development and Lending Fund (MDLF) and the Association of Palestinian Local Authorities (APLA).  The program is financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ).  GIZ-LGRP aims to contribute to the objective of enhanced performance of Local Government Units (LGUs) by supporting different outputs.

In this framework, GIZ-LGRP is willing to support the PA reform efforts in the local government sector through its leading Ministry of Local Government by empowering local government units and enact decentralization and creation of symmetric functions assignment. This shall be achieved by supporting various consultancy assignments.

Within this context, LGRP seeks qualified locally registered service providers to carry out this assignment, and hereby invites qualified bidders to submit their bids for providing needed services.
