Introduction and Background

The Palestine Exchange (PEX) is exploring the establishment of a new organized parallel equity market with lighter listing and disclosure requirements using a trading platform specifically designed to support the custody and trading of shares of private and public companies that do not meet the listing requirements of the standard market. 

The initiative is inspired by successful regional models and aims to provide market incubation to support these companies until they become eligible for listing on the regular market.

PEX is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms or individual consultants with expertise in capital markets, market infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, and market design to conduct a feasibility study and strategic implementation plan for the proposed platform.
