1. Project Overview

We are seeking proposals from qualified web development agencies or freelancers to design and develop an e-commerce website, specializing in Palestinian handicrafts. The website must be built on Shopify and include all essential e-commerce features, SEO optimization, and mobile responsiveness.

2. Scope of Work

The developer will be responsible for:

1. Website Development (Shopify-Based)

✅ Platform: Shopify (custom theme or premium theme customization).
✅ Design: Modern, user-friendly, with a focus on Palestinian cultural aesthetics.

✅ Multi-language Support: English & Arabic
✅ Payment Gateways:

• Bank of Palestine integration
• PayPal
• Bank transfers (for local customers)
  ✅Shipping & Tax Configurations:
• Shipping (Aramex,, Palestine postal services, local delivery companies)
• EU tax compliance (if applicable)
  ✅SEO Optimization:
• Meta tags, alt text, URL structuring
• Blog integration for content marketing
  ✅Mobile Responsiveness: Fully optimized for mobile & tablet.

1. Must-Have the following Features

🔹 Product Catalog:

• Categories (Embroidery, Olive Wood, Ceramics, etc.)
• Product variants (size, color, customization options)
• High-resolution image galleries
  🔹User Accounts & Checkout:
• Full-featured Shopify store: secure checkout, multi-currency display, order management, and global shipping logic.

8. Terms & Conditions

• The selected developer must sign an NDA.
• Prices must be valid for a period of (60) days starting from the deadline for submitting bids.
• Prices must be in USD and including of VAT
• The applicant must be a company registered with the official authorities and able to obtain a valid tax invoice and a valid certificate of deduction from the source. Please note that if a valid certificate of deduction from the source is not provided, 10% of the contract value will be deducted for income tax.
• Post-launch support (3 months minimum) is required
